Martin is an Agricultural Engineer with an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan. He has over 30 years of experience in the management of food manufacturing processes and has benefited from exposure to a variety of industry segments; grain processing, bakery, airline catering, sushi and finally raw poultry processing. A common element in these experiences has been the challenge of influencing behaviors to create a safer work environment. Martin will share how Maple Leaf is implementing its strategy to drive improved H&S performance through appropriate leadership behaviors and through engagement of its workforce in their H&S programs.
